The journey into ourselves is a sacred act.
How good would it feel? Step away. Breathe. Come home to yourself. Retreats for women invite us to be held in like-hearted community. Through practices of movement & meditation, breath & bodywork, sound healing, process art and rest we’ll meet and nourish the parts of ourselves that know the true value and power in the gentle flow of days. In intimate classes you’ll experience ‘yoga’ as somatic inquiry and a wisdom practice, so that we can remember how we move from our own being.
It’s an invitation to be held, to restore our creative energy and simply be.
As we open space in ourselves, we open space in our lives. I trust that the women called to retreat in these supportive spaces are contributing to a larger movement in our world and will be deeply rooted and nourished by this community.

Her body moves
soft with the dawn
As with all my years of soulwork, I continue to bring the prayerful intention that each day is an invitation to reconnect with the essence of who you are.
The women drawn to this community already know the power of slowing down and the importance of true, deep connection. Yet, it may feel to the one we love inside as if she is living within a life that’s out of sync. She struggles to navigate by what she really needs, desires and loves.
What I have discovered in my work is that when our heart’s sensitivity and priorities are not valued in the world around us, it makes sense that we resist—often this shows up as tension in our bodies, feeling depleted and longing for a more natural way.
Even so, every woman carries a vital memory of the connections that nourish her and she intuitively seeks a space to integrate and express them. She discovers healing and authentic fulfillment when she stops believing the conditioning that she needs to strive, often alone (within systems that don’t serve her), and instead begins to feel safe and held—where she can rest in silence and create from her own listening. From here, she begins to honor and value her personal wisdom, and she realizes that the healing power of her stories and path extend to those beyond even herself.
Our retreats are currently full.
The waves tell
her stories
My prayer for retreat is that we remember together a love so vast she can hold us, and we discover within the same sense of permission that this land so generously exudes.
Together we’ll practice deeply listening, rooted in subtle energy, inquiry and gentleness, in intimate body & breath classes of 5-6 people—so you can witness the beauty and wisdom of your own experience. We will explore redefining connection to ourselves as starting inside ourselves, our own bodies and our great mother, nature.
I invite you to take the layers off. Journal alongside your movement practice, get covered in flour baking bread, drift into a delicious nap at the pool (or on the studio floor). How good would it feel? Laugh, cry, release, take all the time you need.
We are meant to wake up together to the life-giving parts of ourselves. You have the right to pause, do less. Enjoy a luxuriously long aperitif hour every day, claim time for your heart’s desire that has been put on the back burner (yes, you can bring that notebook of ideas) and rest under the stars.

“I want to be part of the shift as well as an agent for the shift that I believe is happening all around us. I come on retreat to find space, to re-energize, to connect with Self and the Source within, and to expand and grow through fellowship with other women. Being with women who are like-minded and soulful is comforting, normalizing, and magnifying to the divine nature of the feminine. I enjoy the opportunity to be deep, I enjoy the chance to be playful and have fun, and I think the group sharing is invaluable.”

“Knowing my Enneagram type, I was hesitant to sign up for the retreat without seeing the agenda, and I’m so glad I took the leap. I can truly say this community and soul + body work has filled my cup. I know I'm going home much stronger and with a present slate of mind, which is a great gift to myself (and my family). Forever grateful to my soul sisters.”

“I came in feeling depleted, exhausted, so tired from work and relationships. I now feel completely balanced; my cup is full and running over with all of these amazing women and being able to gather wisdom from all different walks of life. I feel strong and ready to take on the outside world…I love it! I’m taking back incorporating breath into everyday. Just to sit, be where I am, notice my steps when I'm walking, be present and slow down. It was joyful, peace-giving, energizing and full of friendship!”
— Sarah, 2018
“Something special from this retreat was an understanding of vulnerability. I’ve been inspired to be more vulnerable, because it will lead to deeper connections. I’ve read about this and yearned to be vulnerable, but here on retreat I actually experienced and practiced it. That was life-changing.”
— Kelsey C, 2019
“This retreat was a rebirth for me. I’ve done many activities in the past to understand what kind of leader I am and what my personality is, but this was the first time I actually saw who I am as a person and what motivates me. The connections I’ve made with a diverse group of women & the meaningful programs have truly been a blessing. Everything is brighter and more beautiful!”
—Makesha, 2019
“I arrived stressed and anxious and your meditation did wonders to my body and soul. Something you said really hit home: ‘you invite relation, you dont force it.’ I think I was definitely trying to ‘force it’…I have 10 minutes, I really need to relax, relax relax relax. Perhaps that is why it wasn’t working…or it just seems to work a lot better with you and your gentle voice. I am deeply grateful for these precious moments.”
—Julie A, 2020
“I wanted my ‘self’ back and your retreat reunited me with her once again. Shari’s nourishing loving energy reconnected my spirit to the softer, sweeter side of life… When our yoga session ends and I go into savasana with her special breathing exercises, Shari's touch on my forehead is gentle and caring. As she instructs me to relax parts of my body, I can truly feel myself MELTING. Thank you.”
— Women’s retreat guest, 2013

Thank you for all the effort you put into making this a loving and kind world. Thank you for giving us space to feel safe as we explore our inner world.“
